AI SERVICES
AI without the hype.
Education first. Custom builds when they pay off.
We use AI in our own business every day. We help you understand what it can do for yours, then build only what is worth building.
- Strategy and education, not product pitches
- Custom development handled in-house
- Cost savings through SaaS replacement
Most AI projects right now don’t pay off.
Most of the AI conversation in 2026 is Copilot pilots that quietly get cancelled, customer-service chatbots nobody wanted, and dashboards that were already possible without AI. The real opportunity is quieter and harder to demo at a keynote: understanding what AI can actually do for your specific business, and using it where it changes the cost math, not just the workflow.
We start with what you do today, where the friction lives, and what you are already paying for. Then we tell you whether AI is the right tool, and if it is, what would be worth building.
What we actually do.
No Copilot rollouts. No off-the-shelf “AI agent” packages. Education and custom development, focused on cases where AI changes the cost math.
AI strategy and education
Half-day or full-day sessions with your leadership team. Where AI fits, where it doesn’t, what to be skeptical of, what’s already changed since last quarter. We come from running AI in production, not from reselling someone else’s pitch deck.
MCP server builds
Model Context Protocol servers that connect AI assistants directly to your business tools. Slack, HubSpot, your internal databases, your ticketing system. Once connected, AI can answer questions across your real data instead of guessing from a prompt.
SaaS replacement and API integration
Many recurring SaaS costs exist because building the same thing internally was too expensive five years ago. With AI in the loop, custom development is now within reach for tools that used to be locked behind subscriptions. We identify those cases and build the replacement.
Custom development, in-house
When the build makes sense, we write it. Claude API integrations, custom agents tailored to your workflow, internal tools that read your data and surface what matters. No offshoring, no white-label vendor tucked behind us.
AI changes the math on connecting your tools.
Most businesses run on a stack of SaaS apps that do not talk to each other. Sales data lives in one tool, operations in another, finance in a third. Pulling reports across them, syncing records, building workflows that span systems: that used to take developer-weeks per integration. With AI in the loop, the same work takes a developer-day.
The result: small custom layers that bolt onto tools you already pay for are now worth building. A dashboard that pulls live data from three systems. A workflow that auto-syncs records when something changes upstream. A small internal feature that fills the one gap in an app your team uses every day.
We help businesses identify where the friction lives in their current tool stack and then build the integration or feature that removes it. Sometimes the answer is “what you have is fine, keep it.” Often it is “this small integration eliminates a weekly manual process.”
Why NetSafe.
Pick the partner who has been using AI in their own business every day, not the one selling you a product they cannot service.
We run AI in production every day
Custom Claude API agents, MCP servers, automated evaluation pipelines. The AI advice we give comes from running into the real-world problems first, not from reading about them.
Education before pitches
Most engagements start with a strategy session, not a sales call. We will tell you when AI isn’t the right answer for a problem, and we will not invent reasons it is.
Custom development handled in-house
Charlotte-based developers writing the code. No offshore subcontractor sitting behind us. The team that scopes the build is the team that ships it.
Vendor-neutral on AI tools
We have no resell incentive on Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Anthropic Claude, or any specific platform. The recommendation matches what your business actually needs.
How AI services are priced.
AI work does not fit a per-device or per-mailbox rate. We price two ways depending on the engagement.
Hourly engagements scoped to what your team is asking. Half-day session, full-day session, or ongoing advisory.
Project-based, scoped after a discovery conversation. We write a fixed-fee proposal before any code gets written.
The goal on most engagements is replacing recurring SaaS spend with one-time custom builds where the ROI is clear within twelve months. When AI is not the right answer for a problem, we say so.
Frequently asked questions.
What’s actually worth doing with AI right now?
The clearest wins right now are: custom internal tools that read your business data and surface what matters, replacing dashboards or recurring reports; automation that writes the boring code your team would otherwise pay a SaaS subscription for; and MCP-based connectors that let AI assistants work with your real data instead of guessing from a prompt. Less clear: customer-facing chatbots, “Copilot for everything,” and AI-generated reports that nobody reads.
How is custom AI development cheaper than SaaS?
Most SaaS subscriptions exist because building the equivalent in-house used to take a developer two to three months. AI assistants now make custom builds significantly faster. Work that used to take weeks now takes days. A SaaS subscription you’ve used for years can sometimes be replaced by a custom build that costs less than four months of the subscription. We help identify the cases where the math works.
Do you do Copilot rollouts?
No. Microsoft Copilot is a real product that’s well-supported by the Microsoft Partner ecosystem, and we leave that work to firms that specialize in it. We focus on custom development and education, where running AI ourselves gives us a useful perspective.
What’s an MCP server, and why would my business want one?
Model Context Protocol is the standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data. An MCP server connects an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, others) to your specific business systems. Your customer relationship management system, your support inbox, your databases. Once connected, the assistant can answer questions or take actions against your real data instead of guessing from a prompt. Most businesses do not need this yet, but the ones who do can replace several point tools with a single conversational interface.
How are these engagements priced?
Two ways. Strategy and education work is hourly, scoped to your team’s questions. Custom builds are project-based with a fixed-fee proposal written after a discovery conversation. We don’t bill against AI tokens, monthly subscriptions, or per-seat fees on top.
What if we already use a SaaS that does what we’d build?
We’ll tell you to keep it. Custom builds make sense when the SaaS is expensive, doesn’t fit your workflow, or has features you don’t use. They don’t make sense when the SaaS is well-priced, well-supported, and already part of how your team works. The decision comes down to math, not preference.
Let’s talk about AI for your business.
Tell us what problem you are trying to solve and we will tell you whether AI is the right tool. If it is, we will scope the build. If it is not, we will say so.
